Our Story

Happy and Healthy Japanese Wagyu Cattle

Clark and Yumi met in Tokyo while Clark was working in Japan as an Officer of General Electric Japan. After a life of travelling the world, Clark decided to return to his native USA, and was joined by Yumi in 2018. Yumi attended university as an undergrad at the University of North Carolina, followed by a four year stint in New York at KPMG. She returned to her native Japan in 2010 to work for Ernst and Young  where she met Clark in 2014, and later started dating Clark after he returned to Los Angeles in 2015. Yumi and Clark moved to Texas during Covid, in 2020, and acquired Triple B Ranch from an Angus cattle rancher, in June 2021. They now live between their home in north Dallas and their ranch in East Texas.

Yumi grew up in an agricultural family in Hyogo Prefecture, and combines her discipline in farming with Clark's passion for developing the highest quality Wagyu cattle. Given Clark also runs a financial services firm, his wife manages Triple B, and are supported on the ranch by a wonderful local family that act as ranch managers.

Clark & Yumi welcomed their daughter in 2020, and were thrilled that her first word was, "moo-cow". In addition to their wonderful ranch hands, Triple B is supported by their blue Great Dane, Sora (Sky) and her son Kuro (Black),  full time at Triple B, one of five puppies that came from Sora when she was bred with Clark's late Great Dane Ta-ke (Bamboo), via insemination. Two of Sora's other pups are living in California with the Godfather of Clark & Yumi's daughter.
